Your cruise
From the Port of Saint Cast, sail for a day to the Chausey archipelago or Saint-Malo Your professional skipper will take you for a voyage on board his yacht. A way to discover the pleasures of the sea for novices, or for confirmed sailors to live out their passion.
Your possible stops during this cruise
Departure time for this day is fixed at 09:30. Your professional skipper will welcome you at the Saint-Cast marina. You will then set off for an unforgettable day exploring the Emerald Coast. As a first step, your captain will explain the safety rules at sea. You will then depart for a day of sailing. Your captain will be able to guide you through the history of Saint-Malo, and tell you about sea birds, or about fishing and oyster farming. If the weather and the tide allow it, you will head towards Normandy's Chausey archipelago. Allow about 3 hours of navigation. Lunch at anchor is provided. Located off the bay of Mont Saint Michel, this archipelago a classified site where nature is protected. Consisting of a large main island, 365 islands at low tide and 52 at high tide, it is the largest archipelago in Europe! Did you know? Formerly exploited for its granite, stone from the archipelago was used to build the famous Abbey of Mont Saint Michel, rebuild Saint Malo, and even pave the streets of Paris! In the afternoon, you will undertake the return trip to disembark at 18:00 at the Port of Saint-Cast. If the weather does not permit you to sail to Chausey, your skipper offers you another, equally memorable itinerary. You will be able to explore the approaches to Lîle des Hébihens, or to sail around the Fort-la-Latte. This legendary castle, classified as a historic monument, looks out over the sea at Cap Fréhel. Built in the 13th century, it is impressive both in size and history. You will then pass by Cap Fréhel, a point of pink granite plunging down into the emerald waters of Northern Brittany. Look around you, and you will probably see guillemots, razorbills or shags. Common gulls and seagulls of all kinds should provide you with a stunning show that you are not likely to forget. Cape Fréhel is home to a protected bird sanctuary. Finally, you will sail around the former corsair city of Saint-Malo. Whatever the route, you will enjoy a day at sea rich in landscapes, stories and memories!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to see that we were going to sail on a racing boat. Georges explained us the security rules to respect and once done everyone could participate to the navigation and it was precisely what we wanted, we could steer each one in turn for the biggest happiness of the children. We left Saint Cast and sailed along the coast until Erquy to have lunch before taking the way back.
Georges was super nice from the beginning to the end and we all had a great time.
We spent a half-day cruise with Vincent, who welcomed us warmly and immediately put us at ease. We were a family of 4 people and spent an incredible day with Vincent, we had the opportunity to observe dolphins a few centimetres away from us, in their natural state, an incredible and unforgettable experience that we will keep in mind all our lives. Vincent also let us handle the sailboat, take the helm, deploy the sails. We were also able to change the sail, along the wind axis under his watchful eye. As for the cruise itself, we had the opportunity to see Saint-Malo, Dinar, various forts in the open sea as well as the beaches of Brittany. We took advantage of this day and would not hesitate to recommend it, it is an experience open to all, in short a wonderful day.
We were welcomed by Vincent on board his sailboat, a very warm welcome. We were immediately won over, Vincent is a very competent skipper and has a real passion for the sea, a passion he passed on to us, we had the opportunity to manoeuvre the boat by ourselves with Vincent's advice. An incredible experience for us who had never been on a boat before. His kindness immediately convinced us, we could hardly have found a better day during our holidays in Brittany than the one aboard his sailboat. Day to do and redo, in such good company, we highly recommend it.
We left the port of Saint-Cast le Guildo on Saturday at 10am and returned at 5pm the same day. We sailed quietly (not much wind) to Cap Fréhel. We stopped for lunch to eat at the foot of Fort Lalatte and take a swim.
Georges is very nice and gave us the opportunity to manoeuvre his boat so we were all new to sailing. Georges adapted to our desires, it was perfect!!I highly recommend it
